TAMADA

TAMADA MOVE
Sometimes a situation — a relationship, a pattern, a system — needs to be looked at. The figures bring information that hasn't been articulated yet. By starting to represent something, often we begin to see differently, different connections, different dynamics, new insights, new feelings. A representation can bring clarity, order, ideas, new moves. The best moment in these sessions is the sense of lightness and clarity they can generate. A system is often waiting to be seen to reveal what it needs.
🔀
A decision you can't make
When both options feel impossible. When you keep going round the same loop. Building the decision as a scene often reveals what the loop is actually protecting — and what becomes possible when you can see it.
🔄
A pattern that keeps repeating
The same dynamic in different relationships. The same outcome from different starting points. A TAMADA practice can show you the structure of the pattern — what role you're playing, what you're carrying, what you might be able to put down.

A transition or new chapter
A new role, a new city, a relationship changing, a chapter closing. Transitions ask us to know who we are without the old structure. Figures help you see where you actually stand — and what you want to walk toward and what you need to get there.
đź’Ľ
A team or organisation
Dynamics that are not delivering. A leadership challenge, a team that isn't working, a change that isn't landing. Building the team on a table lets people say what they actually see differently — without expectations or performance.
🪞
A relationship that's stuck
Something between two people that words haven't shifted. The scene can show both positions simultaneously — which is something a conversation rarely can. Seeing the other person's figure from the outside helps and changes the dynamic.
🌫️
A knowing without a name
A sense of something missing. Sometimes the only way to find out is to start building the scene and look at what you've made.
When the figure
already has a face
Wooden figures are blank, they become whoever you need them to be. Playmobil figures arrive already as someone, a specific energy.
That specificity can unlock unexpected humour, incredible sense of deja vu, total surprise for what the figure already says through its clothes, nothing really prepares you for the information these figures bring.

A session might need the blankness of wood or it might need a face.

TAMADA works with both.

Two kinds of figures.
One process.

TAMADA works with two distinct kinds of objects — and they both have their role and purpose.

Sometimes an abstract figure and other times a figure that arrives already with plenty of information.

WOODEN FIGURES
The blank Canvas
They are great for ceremonies and for situations where we just want to see a system, to celebrate a moment, to connect with an experience. There is less information in the selection and more in the placement, in the movement, in the messages that come out. This simplicity creates safety. There is no right or wrong. The meaning is entirely there to be made.
PLAYMOBIL FIGURES
Already someone
They arrive with a face, a role, a world, with texture. That specificity brings an extra layer — it may trigger recognition, tenderness, resistance, laughter. The system may need these tools to reveal itself with more details.

Come & Explore
We often know there is more going on that we have words for - a decision, a transition, a pattern that keeps repeating, a feeling that something is out of place.

In a TAMADA session we talk about the situation and we build it. Something in the arrangement shows what couldn't be seen before.

The session moves slowly on the surface, the movement is deep and powerful on the inside.
